A professor at the New York University in the photography and imaging department is going to undergo a surgery to implant a camera in the back of his head. I have heard students complaining about professors always watching them on during classes. I wonder how they feel about this.
This is being done for a project by a new museum in Qatar. The work is going to be a live steam of images from the camera to all museum visitors. The implanted camera will take pictures from the professor's head at one-minute intervals and then feed the photos electronically to the monitors at the museum.
I am sure if this technology works, they would also use this in lots of security places for constant surveillance.
