Dell moving into smartphones market

The latest trend about cellphones is having a multitasking phone very similar to a fully functional computer. Most computer companies are now moving into the smart phones market. Dell recently plans to move to the windows phone 7 - Dell Venue Pro. According to Wall street journal, dell is in discussions with T-mobile to buy voice and data plans in bulk for the Venue Pro.

Dell claims to save money by their switch from the RIM Blackberry's to the venue pro and also has been convincing its business customers to switch to companies smart phones.

The competition in the smart phone market is going to get very intense with companies like not just Dell, but HP who bought Palm are also entering the market with a bang.

It would be interesting to know how the market plays. Will it be the most "Coolest" phone to survive or "Cheapest".
